For those who own a CZ Compact or PCR, AND a Tristar C100
« on: December 25, 2020, 10:04:10 AM »
More for the person who owns the compact and the C100...

Do you have a kydex holster that works for BOTH?  I ask here, because there is not a response on the clone forum.

I have a Highnoon kydex/leather lined that works nicely for the P01.  It kinda fits the Compact, but the C100 falls right out, DESPITE the C100 having a thicker frame.  I'd like to carry the C100 in a kydex holster, as it is the LIGHTEST CZ 75 type of pistol and mine has an excellent trigger (after some work).

I'd like to get a holster that works for both because hardly anyone 'makes one' for the C100.  Personal experience in this case is invaluable.  Thanks.

Dont own a Tristar, but carry mine in a JM custom.

He molds it so the P01 and PCR utilizes the same holster.   JM has become my go to holster.

I don't know if this will help but I have a C100 40 S&W and a PCR. The 40 S&W C100 has a wider slide at muzzle than the 9mm does.  I bought a Vedder Pro Draw paddle holster for CZ P-01 to carry the C100. Nobody makes a holster specifically for a C100 40. It works after tightening the heck out of it. The pistol won't fall out but it's not really what I'd call tight.

On the other hand, after reading your post, I tried the PCR in it for the first time. It fit but really tight but not so tight I wouldn't carry it like that. Funny thing though the C100 frame is supposed to be a little bigger than the PCR.

Like you, I posted here asking similar question, got no response so I finally called Cajun Gun Works, (they know everything, don't they?) and one of the guys suggested Vedder. It worked for my C100.

BTW, my C100 is almost as heavy as my 75B 40 S&W. Figure that!

I have both Vedder and JM Custom for other guns and like them both, but prefer the JM.  JM is a VERY small profile - that MAY be the way.  I may also call.  If their version supports both the P01 and PCR, it MAY work.  It has adjustable tension.  Thanks.
