THAT was psycho night. Without going into details I cannot give...well, nobody got hurt but we had some fur flyin'. We rocked and rolled all day long, and had a last incident right at shift change so I was stuck late doing paperwork for that one. Then two neighbors had BIG block parties - one was so big they had guys out in orange safety vests directing parking. They shot off fireworks and played loud music ALL night long. I mean all night - when I grouched my tired way out the door at 5AM there was STILL music playing. I think I got about 1-1.5 hours of actual sleep - years ago I slept through a main gun exercise, but that was 30 years ago, and I haven't slept in a "war zone" in quite a few years...until last night. I do understand people were so anxious to see 2020 leave that they shot at it to make sure it didn't come back!
However, today...so far...well, I dinna wanna jinx it, still have a few hours to go...
