Joining the Kadet Club
« on: January 02, 2021, 01:38:48 PM »
Hi to all,

Just ordered my Kadet 2 a couple days back and am eager to get started.

I'm interested in plinking and target shooting with my wife (she has a Buckmark), so I needed to get a pistol. Early in the process as I don't have a frame yet. Be prepared, I'm going to resurrect a 7 year old thread.

All the best,
Peter

Welcome to the Forum, and the KADET Klub
The KADET (2) will run well on all of the Lowers listed for the KADET on the CZ-USA Site
https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-kadet-adapter-ii-22-lr-adj-sights-10-rd-mags-will-fit-omega-system/
But the SP-01 and the B-SA are two of the better Hosts Frames
My KADET 2 on my B-SA and Stainless Lowers:

Hope you get your set-up the way you want it

Hi Den,

Thanks for the input. And Yes, hoping for the 75B SA. Still hunting.

BTW, what host do you use for photos (I know you're a fan of pics). Looking forward to sharing what I find.

All the best,
Peter

Thanks Viper,

I talked to CZC and they will not ship the SA frame to CA. It's not on the Ca. roster. What I need is the factory low capacity model SKU#01150.

I appreciate you bing on the lookout.

All the best,
Peter

Don't get the issue, when you are buying just the Lower ! ? !
The Frame doesn't dictate capacity
And the B-SA is a FPB Model too .... I don't get it
Not like you' 're buying the whole Pistol with 17 Round Mags
Or even the Frame / Lower with a HiCap (Standard Capacity) Magazine
Glad we "fled" SoCal when we did ! ! !

Note how the Stainless is (basically) the same Frame as the B-SA, just with a DA/SA Trigger, which is an easy swap to make it SA

I concur with you. The CZ 75 SA is on the California Handgun Roster. The standard cap and low cap CZ 75 SA are the exact same pistol, aside from the mags. The catch is, that it is up to the Shipping FFL to decide what they are willing to ship. Some FFLs work to facilitate, some choose to play it safe. Some FFLs play it by the SKUs, others by the specific pistols being sold. To be clear here, i am not knocking CZC, it is their choice to do business as they choose. I do not own/run a gunshop and i have never been though an audit.

Op that’s sad to hear. The only thing I can say is that Montana has room for a couple more people. Now don’t let too many know, we like being a low population state, but we can accommodate a few more 2a abiding people.
Did CZC clarify why they won’t ship?

Hi All,
Thanks for your comments. I mentioned that to CZC and it sounds like it's a SKU# issue and the're not going there.

I'm going to contact my FFL with the CZC item to see what they think. Perhaps if my FFL orders the frame everyone will be happy in the end... Hmmmm.

Dawwwg,
Thanks for the invite! I'm quite fond of standing in a river waiving a stick. sounds magical.

Stay tuned,
Peter

The reply from my FFL was as expected.

"Hi Peter, unfortunately the only SA you can register in California is the 75B SA (01150.) "

The search continues.

All the best,
Peter

Peter,

Use my Kadet 2 in matches on a monthly basis.  Works great and if I do not win it is always my fault.  Usually not cleaning the gun for a couple of months (500-1000 rounds).  Best wishes on finding a frame to host your Kadet. If you want to see what these kits can really do watch some of the videos by JoeL.
