Unless it has allot of external wear, used is free breakin, so the same as a new one. The 75 SA is discontinued, a short dust cover frame with ambi safety and up swept beaver tail might be a bonus. Same frame as the 75 Shadow aside from a few parts.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

What would a used B-SA01150 Lower be worth ?

Hey all,

Being a super newbie, I have no idea of the value of just the frame. For the Ca legal 75B SA, I seen the price range from new $1300 and used with mods at $700 (over the last 6 months or so). And given the discontinued status, I believe that bumps up the price too. At least it appears that people do have some financial sense based on absence of action on the highest priced items. CZ Custom has the 75 SA frame for $535 (?). So a used 75B SA SKU#01150 frame only may fall in that same $500-600 range???? Not sure.

Regardless, the good news is that I found a 75B SA here in the classified section from a member in Connecticut. Waiting for the arrival to my FFL and then more waiting. I'll get pics posted when can.

All the best,
Peter

I'm back.

Got the range with the new 75B SA and the Kadet 2.

Fitting the Kadet 2 involved slightly filing the side rails and the lower section of the barrel. Took 20 minuets.

Went to the range on Sunday. First couple rounds did not cycle. Had to manually rack to eject the cartridges. After that, Perfect.

More to come (with Pics).

Cheers,
Peter

Sounds great Peter
Can't wait to see your Pics

Wish mine (KADET 2) ran smooth first time out
Sadly, I haven't had the chance to get it back out since I gave it a bit of "Luvin"

Hey All,

Made it to the range last Saturday with a buddy to start working on my skills. Shot 40 rounds of CCI SV and 20 Eley Club. The SV ran perfectly. Had 2 light strike with the Eley Club (both fired, second strike). After that all was good.

As promised I have pics. 1st 2nd are of the Kadet 2 on a 75B SA frame. The last is my best grouping for day at 7 yds. Super happy with how all this is working out.

All the best,
Peter

Looks great Peter
Love the Extended Mag Button and "Thumber" Safety

Really have to make time to get to "the Range"
Have a few Guns that I haven't even shot yet !
And a couple since I've worked on them .... namely my B-SA KADET 2-2.0

Congrats, Peter, on getting out with the new pistol.  I have somewhere around 40k+ rounds through a Kadet on a 75B frame converted to SAO.  It is my bullseye match pistol.   A few things I have found that may be of benefit to you.

1.  Use oil on the rails, not grease.  On the .22, you don't need the extra lubrication and certainly don't need the viscosity of the grease.

2.  Don't use a hammer spring lighter than 17 lb.  Your factory spring is good.

3.  Take a look at the big hole at the breech face for that firing pin.  Rimfire gunk fills up that hole after a few hundred rounds and cushions the firing pin strike, causing misfires.  Carry a dental pick with you and pick that crud out if you have a misfire.  Pick the breech face and under the extractor while you are at it.  When you clean the barrel, remove the firing pin and clean the firing pin bore.

4.  CCI rimfires are a little harder than Norma and I will sometimes get a misfire on a cold day with the CCI ammo.  I've pretty much standardized on Norma Tac22 and Norma Match for my Kadet, due to the 100% reliability with a 17# hammer spring.

5.  When cleaning the barrel, be very careful not to bump the ejector.  It is very brittle and will literally snap off if you knock it with a cleaning rod or a tool.

In my opinion, the CZ Kadet for the 75 series pistols is the best mass production .22 conversion available.  I wouldn't trade mine for anything and have no plans to ever buy a "real match pistol".

There are more videos here on the Kadet than anyone that isn't bedridden has time to watch.

Enjoy your pistol.
