It's good to be cautious, but I believe you're overthinking this just a bit. Test labs use even numbers for convenience, and lack of confusion.
You have repeatable results in your push test. Load at 1.095, start at the starting load for the powder and bullet you chose, and work up.
Yes I do tend to overthink things. I'm just trying to find some consistency.
sorry but i have not read through all of the replies....
Sometimes you need to stop, count to 10 or so and take a few steps back and get the big picture.
I can turn off the world and get sucked into what im doing really easily and focus (get blinded) by the details and focus only on that.
You may need to figure out for yourself how you do things and keep in mind who you are and how you do it and then while you do things, keep that running through your mind. Big picture is sometimes just as important as the details.
"consistency" is like when people look for the "Best" of this or that. think about what those words mean and put them in context in what you are doing or trying to do or achieve.
but think of "Constancy" as Number +/- number.
sorry if you already know numbers and tolerance, but unless someone says something i get the feeling that they dont especially when i see statements like the above. If you can apply tolerance to your consistancy, you may feel better about what data you are getting...
