When in stock you can get Mec-Gar mags (different baseplate than OEM but they work and look just fine) here for $25:

EAA/Tanfo .45 large frame mags will work. I just did a quick search.  CheaperTheDirt has them in stock.

Yes CTD is pretty bad - famous for playing the game of setting the highest price the market will bear - they also used to be a real rip off on shipping - I haven't bought anything from them since the 1990s' when they had some deal on 1911 magazines, I think I ordered 3 and 2 were bad out of the box.

I put my email address in all the other websites to be notified when they will be back in stock, I am sure some will show up again eventually.
I will continue to look on ebay and gunbroker as well.

Then I found these...

will they work - maybe

I have a couple of the Tanfoglio marked large frame .45 mags and they do not reliably lock in the CZ 97. It might be possible to trim enough off of the tops of the baseplate to get sufficient clearance for proper lockup, but I just keep them with the Witness Match .45 instead.

I received an email from Greg Cote yesterday saying he had the mec-gars in stock.  I ordered a couple plus the factory base plates.
