I found a used on ebay that i bought at an ok price - a mec gar.
Then I found these...

These will work, right?
JAG
will they work - maybe
I have a couple of the Tanfoglio marked large frame .45 mags and they do not reliably lock in the CZ 97. It might be possible to trim enough off of the tops of the baseplate to get sufficient clearance for proper lockup, but I just keep them with the Witness Match .45 instead.
I have a few of the EAA 101450 mags. Judging by the pics I see on the net, they were revised at one point. One version shows an orange follower with a CZ 97ish base plate. The ones I got about a month ago have black followers and the same type of base plate as the Mec-gar mags.
All 3 mags, factory 97, Mec-gar and EAA look the same, black follower, mag body, and stamping. I did email Mec-gar and they said they do indeed make the EAA 101450 mags.
Now I have not had a chance to run actual ammo through the EAA mags, but just dry running them through my 97, they drop free and lock the slide back.
