new 97B
« on: February 01, 2021, 11:59:43 PM »
Recently purchased a NIB 97B,  went to the gun/pawn shop to look for a shotgun to placated the wife.  She was worried about all the craziness do to election and crazy people.  Found what I was looking for-Ithica 37 PD, nice unit with folding stock.  While I was there, I was looking at handguns, staff asked if there was anything in particular I wanted to see, so I asked if by chance they had any Ruger P95s, the answer was no, but we just got this in, and he handed me the 97B.  I left with one more firearm than I went in to get.  So far I have only run 150 rounds of Winchester White box 230 gr. FMJ through it.  What a wonderful birthday present to myself. I just need to get my eyes checked  First 10 rounds at 10 yards left one large ragged hole with 1 flyer, just about 1.5 inches left of center. I was to say the least, happy.
it's not the miles, but the condition of the roads

Gratz on the 97B, may it continue to run flawlessly.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The Ruger isn't the class of the 97.

many of us here have at least on CZ 97B,

either way, the CZ branded guns,  are indeed fantastic guns, and you very well might be buying another CZ, or 2, or 3...........or 103....!!!!!
Just  getting on thru retirement., and into the sport of shooting, with anyone of my......21 handguns, either semi-automatics, or revolvers

Welcome and congrats on a great new pistol. I am very happy with mine. My buddy just bought an SP-01 and we were at the range a week ago when he shot my 97B. When I told him it was a 45 he was shocked at how light the recoil was.
