I've had great success with both the PSAs and the Magpuls. Both are 35 rnds and you can get 15 rnd extensions for the PSAs on the cheap.

Newer black CZ 30-rnd mags are very good.

The older smoked mags work fine, until a feed lip cracks.

Normally I would say stick with the OEM CZ mags, they fit and function perfectly, but after one of mine cracked at the feed lips I'm not so sure.  I did switch over to PSA mags and they have been pretty reliable and relatively inexpensive, but I'm not so happy with the fit of the PSA mags. It seems most of mine need some filing in order to make them fit, and even after that they are tight. Also, the last round open feature isn't reliable. Probably a little more fitting here and there would make them better, but I don't think all that filing and fitting should be required on a quality magazine.

I recently ordered a couple of Magpul mags and although I haven't had a chance to go to the range and try them out, so far I'm impressed. The last round open feature works every time and the fit is perfect, not too tight, not too lose. Plus they practically shoot out of the mag well when you press the mag release button.

It seems it isn't possible to get all of the features you want in one magazine. The PSA mag has metal feed lips which should help in longevity, but in my experience, they require filing/fitting to work properly.  The Magpul fits perfectly, but it doesn't have the metal feed lips. Neither do AK or AR Magpul magazines and I've never had a single problem with them so I don't anticipate any problem with the Magpul for the Scorpion.

So take your pick.

The nice thing about factory cz mags,  if the feed lip cracks, cz will replace them free. Sent them a photo of 3 cracked mag (early model) I got new one in the mail.
Granted it good to see cz doing right for their customers but it doesn't do any good if hi cap mags get ban in your state before the mags break.

The reason you need to do fitting on the PSA mags is because they are made for the PSA AK-V and not specifically for the Scorpion. They used to have a version that was specifically made for the CZ but it was discontinued. I have found that a few minutes with a palm sander on the pad at the top front of the mag and mine drop free and hold open no worries. I also like the Magpuls for the "no modifications needed" option. I have 15 or so of each, have run them hard, and had no reliability issues with either so far.

Because of my state’s law, I need ten round mags. Any alternatives to the ones Cz sells?

I sanded the front pad on my PSA mags and didn't need modifications to my Magpul mags.   In competition, I alternate between OEM, PSA, and Magpul.   I never had any issues with LRBHO.

I use virtually nothing but the Manticore mags which have been 100% for me.  I've had no issues with the stock mags but I have more confidence in the long term durability of the steel feed lips of the Manitcores (they're very similar to a 9mm version of an L5 Lancer Warfighter IMO).

I have a pile of PSA AK V mags. They fit and run great in my gun out of the box.

Unfortunately, no. I asked PSA if they had thought about making 15 or 20s and they said they had no plans to make anything other than the 35s.
Getting Magpul to do some might be possible, but I doubt there would be enough demand.
