Anyone Know How Old Is This Prvi Partizan 32 Auto FMJ?
« on: February 17, 2021, 05:22:26 PM »
Does anyone have an idea of how when Prvi Partizan stop using this type of design on their packages for 32 ACP?  For my CZ 83 a firearm, which I love, I wanted some more 32 ACP ammo and was able to find some today but did not realize what the boxes look like until I met the person.  I bought it anyway but I am wondering if I bought some very old ammo since my other Prvi Partizan boxes look much different and are marked PPU on the front.  Any information would be appreciated.  I know in the last year Federal America Eagle did a major remake of their ammo boxes and last year to PMC also change their ammo boxes for some calibers with some minor design changes.  I checked the PP website and they do not even show any boxes on it...

I had some .380 in similar boxes 15 years ago. Age means nothing if the ammo has been properly stored. If the cases are shiny and the bullets not tarnished badly the ammo probably has been in a stable environment and should be just fine.

Thanks for the post.  15 years is a long time but the brass casing looks shiny and there is red stamp marks at the bottom of the cartridge and those look bright colored and fairly new looking.  I seem similar red markings on some S&B 32 ACP that I had.  Have a good evening.

I shoot Fiocchi and Winchester 32 ACP FMJ that was more than 40 (forty!) years old. The cases weren't shining as brand new one, but they did perfect....

Privi has good brass. Some reloader will pay for it.

You might want to pick that stuff up !!

Just saying.

Thanks for the information Wobbly, I do not know that the PP you brass was valuable.  I just started collecting my brass and washing it after shooting for souvenirs but I will have to separate the PPU.  Happy shooting.

it says "made in serbia" on the box. before 2006 it was serbia and montenegro. this should be 15yo at most
i have PPU 8x57 ammo from 1951-52, works like new.

Thank you for the information timmy75 it is very helpful. I had to look up some of the history of Yugoslavia to remind me of the 6 republics that formed the country and its breakup during the 90s. e
