My 97BBuild from CZC
« on: March 08, 2021, 10:18:00 AM »
My upgraded 97B that stuart and I came up with.  ACCU bushing. Optic cut with a leupold DPP.  completion hammer short reset disconnector extended firing pin. Lighter main spring.  ‘High cuts” on the trigger guard and beaver tail.  All topped off with polished black nitride on the slide and polished gold nitride on the frame barrel and ACCU bushing.  Stock grips fit in with the new scheme very well.  8 pound DA and 3 pound SA. Just what I was looking for. Shoots great and with increased accuracy..the high cuts give it a bit of a S2 feel.  Glad I did this build with CZC.  The guys knocked this one out of the park imho.

 :)

Sweet! That's pretty much exactly what I would want in my "perfect" 97 as well.

Beautiful pistol.  Really like the grip modifications.  Please let us know how it shoots.  Would think your split times would drop considerably.  Now if they could do that in 10mm.

Actually the grips are the stock grips. The stock grips just seemed to fit the scheme. Unfortunately I had a medical event may 2020 and can’t participate in and of the shoots at the gun club. I am temporarily confined to a wheel chair and only have the use of one arm. Hopefully this summer I can have partial use of my left arm and hand and will be out of the wheel chair.

Congratulations, she is a great looker.  I’m going to guess that she shoots as good as she looks?

That is an awesome build.

Thank you for the well wishes. Everyday a tiny piece falls in place and I’m closer to my end goal. Can’t wait to shoot the 97 again and my new RAMI as well. I’m confident on a good recovery enough to buy a RAMI bd and have CZC put a little trigger love in it I’ll post some range pics as I get some range time.
