TSO heavier trigger pull
« on: April 06, 2021, 08:22:50 PM »
Just wondering if it's possible to make the trigger pull heavier? The sub 2lb pull is tough to get use to and with ammo situation I don't have the ability to just go out and shoot a lot. I would feel a little more comfortable with the gun with a heavier pull.

Yes, you can. Use two of the Tanfoglio sear springs to replace the stock sear spring.

On the other hand, dry fire it a lot (daily). Then go shoot it once a week and you’ll be use to it in no time.

Installing an additional CZ 75 variant Trigger Return Spring is also an option with some aluminum Single Action only Triggers installed.

I would start with George16's option first though.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

CGW makes a hammer for the tactical sports which they claim increases pull weight from 1.5# to 3#. I would give it a try.

I have done the double sear spring mod, and recall it increases weight by about 1#, good noticeable difference. I had to open up the sear to have enough room to accomodate two sear springs
Life is too short to waste on a bad trigger pull

I've been there and this is what I've landed on:

The CGW hammer is probably the easiest solution albeit the most $$$.
