The 455 is a great rifle.

Finding one with an installed aperture sight sounds awesome. I've never seen that variant. I'd like that even better than the 457 Jaguar a friend recently acquired (and that is also a fine rifle).

I have a 452 with the yo-dave trigger and regularly shoot 2-300yds. As others have mentioned, shooting .22 at these distances will really sharpen your wind reading skills.

I know this is a CZ forum but... If a person is absolutely serious about shooting 22lr at long distances out to 400 yards and has the $$$, that person ought to take a look at the Vudoo lineup.  Not for the faint of heart money-wise, but is like no other 22lr trainer except maybe something based on the Rim-X action.  You would also be looking at a 34mm diam. scope, at least something like an Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30x56 with a 25-35 moa rail.
