CZ 75- SP01 FLAT TRIGGER QUESTION
« on: May 01, 2021, 04:49:48 PM »
Hello all , I recently watch some video on youtube and decide to upgrade my CZ SP01 with M-CARBO kits to reduce the trigger pull, I replaced the trigger return spring ,the sear spring, firing and hammer spring and also the floating trigger pin.  It work perfect and help me improve my accuracy a lot but I still don't like the original trigger on my SP01, I am planning purchase a flat trigger but I am not sure what else do I need to have to make it work ? I am new with gun and appreciate with any advice that you guy and help me with this project.
Thank you

Which flat Trigger are you looking at? Are you planing on converting the pistol to Single Action Only configuration? I ask these questions because there are different types of after market flat Triggers for CZ 75 variants. Some flat Triggers are for Single Action Only (SAO) configuration and others are for Double Action Single Action (DA/SA) configuration.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Thank you for reply! I am not sure what I am talking about( I am rookie), I saw the image of one of the CZ  on google I don't remember which model it was I guess it is a shadow so I wonder if I can buy that trigger for my SP01. And no I am not looking to convert my gun to a single action only, I just want the trigger that has less of the curve profile.

The only DA/SA flat trigger is made by CZ Custom.

Perhaps this should be mover to their section?
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

If you want the flat trigger offered by CZ Custom, you’ll also need the DA short disconnector that they also sell.  The disco is to reduce how far forward the flat trigger is in DA mode.  I’ve read that some of the CGW disconnectors also work.

Another option is the 85C trigger which is a little less curved than the factory trigger.  I don’t believe you need to swap any other parts if you go that route.

Eemann tech also makes a flat trigger and a slight curved trigger.

I have asked this question several times, unfortunately it seems a flat trigger can only go on SAO conversions and that can only be done on Safety models only, NOT decocker models.

By personal experience most of the people i shoot with find the stock sp01 trigger uncomfortable and end up swapping for the 85combat trigger.  I run the older versions of the 85combat that are a little thicker.  It's still curved but imo feels much better.

The SP-01 is available with both the flatter trigger and the more curved trigger. Look at the pics of the website you are researching and ask if it will be shipped as pictured. I recently purchased the # 91152 with the less curved trigger.

Actually not that much flatter at all and the flatter stock trigger won't need gunsmithing.
