Adjusting Crimson Trace CTS-25
« on: May 09, 2021, 09:23:48 AM »
I just bought a Crimson Trace CTS-25 red dot sight for my CZ Scorpion.  The sight came with no instructions or markings on the screw heads of how to adjust for elevation or windage.

I contacted Crimson Trace customer service who simply ignored my question.  (They did reply to my second question of what range the factory used for the initial sight-in. They said it was 100 yards, but quickly corrected this to 50 yards.  ?????  So much for customer service!  >:(

I would greatly appreciate somone who is familiar with this sight telling me in what direction the adjusting screws should be turned for a given desired (up, down, left, right) effect.

I hate to confusing myself by blindly guessing.

Many thanks,

RodE

Given the same basic layout as the CTS-1000, my guess is clockwise is down/left per page 5 of the CTS-1000 manual at https://image.sportsmansguide.com/image/ProductDocuments/710397-cts-1000_user_guide_jan_2019.pdf

Strange, I couldn’t find any link to any such guides on the CT webpage.

Thanks Abe.

I will keep your suggestion in mind.

I still have hope that someone who actually owns and operates a CTS-25 will respond.

As previously stated - clockwise is LEFT / DOWN 1/2" clicks.

Took me a little while to get that right on mine, but it works great now.
