ERGON Trigger Pack
« on: May 16, 2021, 11:48:42 AM »
Has anyone any information and/or experience with the ERGON trigger pack made for the CZ Scorpion?
It is a two stage trigger sold by Ascalon Arms located in the Czech Republic.

The current price is only $149 with FedEx postage of $20 to $40.

The lower cost postage takes a delivery time of a couple months.

I looked at that but didn't "pull the trigger". I got the Franklin binary instead before it makes me a felon.

I just got my Ascalon trigger pack in today. Ordered on Sept. 8, 2021 and it arrived Sept. 17, 2021 in Alaska. I tested the trigger pull of a stock scorpion trigger, an upgraded trigger pack with the reduced weight springs with Theta forward trigger against the Ascalon Ergon Trigger pack. The average for each are as follows:

Stock: 7lbs, 2.6oz
Theta+Springs: 4lbs, 7.0oz
Ascalon Ergon: 2lbs, 7.0oz

The Theta and Ascalon have about the same trigger reset distance of approx. 1/8" or just over 3mm

My only concern that I had was that the Ascalon hammer sounded like it was striking a bit soft. However after a quick range day and 500rds later, my only 1 malfunction and it wasn't trigger related. A failure to feed 147gr Federal Hollow Point pulling back on the charging handle on a reload on round 181.

Overall the trigger is fantastic and my splits were floating in the 0.13-0.17 range with my IPSC target at 25m.

I’ve made 3 purchases from Ascalon arms and they all came in 7-10 days to New Hampshire. Also, I had some questions and their costumer service and English is great. Just my 2¢
