Increasing Grip Thickness
« on: June 20, 2021, 02:23:01 PM »
I have a CZ Custom SP-01 Shadow Target II whose grip thickness I need to increase for a comfortable fit. I also have a P-01 whose original rubber grips are a great fit for my hands. Are the OEM full size rubber grips likely to include an adequate palm swell? Are there custom "target' grips for an SP-01 which offer a wider grip surface?

Thanks for any assistance.

Just order custom grips from LOK. You can specify how thick you want them to be for a better and fuller feel.

The full size factory CZ75 variant rubber grips do have a wide palm swell. As George16 suggested, if you want aftermarket grips that are similar to the factory rubbers palmswell profile, LOK grips are worth a look. LOK has a bunch of different material/color options. Their G10 Palmswell Bogies are some of the most popular CZ grips available. They do custom thickness upon request as well.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Just received and installed a set of Lok CrossCut Palm Swell grips with an additional .060 thickness for my SP-01 Tactical. Grips feel great. Will reply after a some more range time.

Hi All:

Thanks, been out of touch for several months due to travel.

will likely pick up a set of factory rubber grips for the time being. Eventually, will look for wooden grips to improve appearance.
