Thinking about a Kadet Kit for my P-07
« on: June 22, 2021, 07:48:31 PM »
Thinking about getting a Kadet Kit for my P-07. Do they like different types of ammo ? I would love to be able to practice with 22 or ammo. I know many good 22 semi automatics are picky about ammo and it is not necessarily a bad reflection on the gun. It's just the nature of the beast.

I have a Kadet for the CZ75, and Mini-mag has given me my best results, reliability wise. Shooting bulk Federal 36gr copper-plated HP, I could count on 1x-2x stoppages per mag. CCI standard was slightly better. Once I shot about 500rds of Mini-mag, it loosened up and isn't as sensitive. I might get one stoppage every few magazines with bulk ammo now.

Have one on order now from CZ-USA.  The ones on my Shadow 2 and 75B SAs have already paid for themselves.  Use them in matches as well as practice.  Once set up the 75b is now more reliable than most of the dedicated 22s target guns I shoot against and is just as accurate, if given the ammo it likes.
