Does CZC in any way mark their custom guns?

iirc, my semi custom CZ had CZC on the rear part of the slide.

im not a tat/monogrammed/engraved/pimp/..ect type of person and the same for my toys, cars, clothes and so forth.

but i thought it was tastefully done.

Just read this thread and thinking about replies and also wondering why OP was asking.. ???

First thought in my head was some custom gunshops really go way out to put their logos in every nook and cranny they can find on a pistol. Always asked myself "why"?
I DO look like my avatar!

I’ve sent four pistols to CZC and don’t remember any markings, but I know that they keep track of the S/N and can provide documentation at a later date if needed.

I'm the OP.  I bought a lightly used Custom Shop 97 BD from the LGS a few weeks ago.  I'm not worried about it being/not being a CZC gun; it has the CZC marked bushing, the box with the CZC label, and the shiny aluminum grips with black grip tape (replaced those with LOK carbon fiber grips).  But I saw the czc in the triangle on the slide--didn't seem to be a proofmark, since not on the frame or barrel.  But. . . then I got the bright idea of comparing it to my TSO (which required some digging in the safe) and whadda ya know, there it is, although on a different place on the slide.  Well, duh.

So not a Custom Shop mark, but I still am curious what the mark is.  Does it stand for the equivalent of CZ in Czech?

It’s the current proof mark design (from since 2017) used on firearms that are exported for sale in non-CIP member countries. The ones for sale in the home market must have the CIP proof markings and undergo the CIP certification. Thus, P-10 series pistols made in Kansas City do not have proof markings (nor multiple serial number marking on barrel, slide and frame) as it is not a requirement in US manufacture.

Unlike in the “old days”, these markings have shifted around over time. The most recent example can be seen with earlier P-10S pistols versus more recent ones made in Uhersky Brod.  There is/was a proof mark similar to the triangular shaped one that has an “A” instead of the C. These are/were for military firearms not meant for the Czech army.
