Hey everyone,
I recently bought a 20-gauge Drake All-Terrain. I’m enjoying it so far, but realized that the ends of the barrel set appear to be unfinished; not sure why I didn’t notice sooner (guess I don’t usually look down my barrels from the business end). Anyway, I asked CZ about it and they said it’s “perfectly normal” and the rep even referenced to his own Supreme Field being the same.
What’s the logic behind this? Seems like it defeats the purpose of the “impenetrable cerakote finish” if they’re going to leave the muzzle end completely unfinished? Isn’t this more likely to rust or is that really not a concern?
Mostly curious on your thoughts!
