I'm wanting to put an optic, likely a 3X prism, on my D-Technik 7.62X39 VZ-58, and generally like to stick with RS Regulate products for mounting optics to my commie guns, but the link for the DARS-VZ is gone from their website, and based on what I saw in other threads here, the VZ mount isn't a high priority item, so no telling when the next batch will be available.

That leaves me with the Zahal and CSA side rails. Does anyone have hands on experience with a VZ58 with either of these? I'm leaning towards the CSA mount as CSA used to be D-Technik, so their mount should fit properly out of the box.

Alternately, if someone has a link to a vendor who has a DARS-VZ in stock, or has one they're willing to part with, I'll happily take it off your hands.  O0
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I had a CSA side rail installed on one of my rifles, and it works great

AK Operators Union appears to be only vendor with any meaningful amount of RS Regulate's products in stock.  Hope they just crazy busy and not some other issue.

If the former, I suspect they'll loop back to Vz58 offerings once they have ample quantities of higher demand items they can't keep on the shelves restored.

Definitely look into the skeletonized version of the CSA side plate.  Their standard is ridiculously heavy.

That’s pretty much what I would have said.

Will do more VZ-304M in the future, just still trying to dig out of stratospheric demand and panic buying which killed our stock of inventory and C19 which killed the pipeline.
