Neat. I am curious how you can differentiate from a picture alone.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Wonder if they would perform this work on a customer supplied, pre-B ?

Didn't see that ^ listed on CZ Custom Shop's site.

There are a fair number of used pre-Bs out there. However, the small details represent large give-aways and thus, limit the pool of pre-Bs that can be used (abused?) to closely mimic a Short-Rail. The most obvious points include the Made in Czechoslovakia roll mark needs to be a one-line roll mark (available only up to 1983), more upswept front on the trigger guard (up to 1985), one-hole safety lever (1988-95 but then, the trigger spring hole is different on these), roll marks on the front of the left and right trigger guard (the latter is extremely limited to 1980 without the dimpled proof mark) and staked front sight. B models will not work due to the completely different slide markings and difficulty in hiding the firing pin block roll pin. Plus, manufacturing any new item with the old logo would require licensing (currently used by Luvo Arms).

Hey, my gun found its way over here, neat.  ;D

I'm very pleased with this particular firearm and the amount of work they put into getting it to this point is very impressive and the firearm itself is just so beautiful; I couldn't be happier.

As noted, there certainly are a number of differences between this and a 'real' short-rail, esp. depending on the year; though with that, I like the small differences - almost an alternate history/'what-if' the short rail design continued and went through some of the changes we saw in the Pre-B along the way.

At some point I'll need to see if I can get them to refinish/blue some new CZ75 Cold War slide stops I picked up as spares to match (or get close to matching).
