Doubt he ever posts again.  Hope it is not so, but "Good Day" is pretty definitive.  The fact that he still has an extraction issue with his only CZ, was never addressed or even explored.  Bad on us as a community, we did not help one of our own.

Lesson that should be learned:

1. Never attack a newbie.
2. Treat all persons on this forum with respect - especially someone who is new.
3. You can ask for more specifics without being critical.  IF YOU CAN'T DO NOT COMMENT.
4. There can be multiple causes to virtually all malfunctions. May want to look beyond the most likely.
5. This forum was created to share information with CZ users, so that we can enjoy the products they produce. Not for humiliating others.

When I read this thread myself I thought "ouch!". New guy probably won't be back. I came to this forum because it has a wealth of information that I couldn't find anywhere else. If my first foray here was like this I would have kept going.
I DO look like my avatar!

I fixed the extraction problem by replacing the extractor spring designed for a 40 S&W (some refer to it as an "extra power" spring. I'm well aware of delays with the USPS. That was not the issue.

Today at the range I ran various different ammo through the gun. Ranging from 90gr Frangible to 124 defensive (1300 fps). The only extraction problem happened one time with Winchester white box early in it. This was probably a three hundred round session. Split between this pistol and a Walther PDP compact (flawless with at least 500 rounds). To me a $1200.00 gun shouldn't have to be tuned. Right now I'm running a 13# recoil spring and an extraction spring that had to be trimmed.

The pistol is accurate.........it's a pleasure to shoot...........I've had the extractor out twice to clean nad opnce to respring (if that's a word).

The representative of CZ Custom could have been a little more helpful and I could have been a little more discreet complaining.

Once again I didn't mean to discredit the "premiere" customizer of CZ Pistols.

Out of curiosity, what was the issue?

I'll try to do better myself the next time.

So, was it just a USPS delay and the CZC rep wasn't helpful enough?

Yes

CZ Custom was at no fault.

Mea Culpa

I don't think it will be a problem in the future Earl.
