Wow, that 60* bolt lift does really make a difference. That should definitely make a scope/ring selection process easier.

Yes indeed. One of the guys I shoot with and has an older 452 in .22WMG was amazed at the 60* bolt on my 457 Varmint. He said it’s way better and a great upgrade to the 90* bolt.

Yes, couple inches of clearance at least. Absolutely no issue whatsoever with the 60deg bolt.  Same here, my buddy has the 455 and looked at mine and was like WOW!  Now he’s trying to find a 457!

I have about an 1/8”-3/16” gap between the rear sight and bottom of objective so going to try the medium rings and see if it works.
