anybody use Zelle for supply purchases?
« on: September 04, 2021, 12:11:12 PM »
I find one site that has what I need, and they only take Zelle, which seems to be legit, although it does not have the protection of Paypal or Credit cards, they access your bank account directly.  Since I have a special account just for this sort of thing, I am tempted.  The site is Pro reloads, which I have not used before.  I remember a "CZ" site that was fraudulent, wonder if Pro reloads is legit?? 8)

You already know this but:

Scam. 100% scam. Run, don't walk. Minimum order of $200, no credit card option, hahahahaha. There's one born every minute. You will lose your money and receive nothing.

I did some research on Zelle, they seem to be legit.  It's the Pro reloaders that are the scam, IMHO. 8)

I won't use any method that accesses my bank account directly. I even dumped paypal a long while back. I only do business with reputable companies that I know and only pay by card.

Zelle is a genuine method of payment, usually used for sending money to people you already know, like family and close friends. That is not the issue

Zelle can be a convenient option, but you’re right, it doesn’t offer the same protections as PayPal or credit cards. If you’re using a separate account just for this, that’s a good move to limit potential risks. As for Pro Reloads, since you haven’t used it before, I’d recommend checking out reviews or feedback from other users.

I’ve used Zelle for a few supply purchases, and it’s been pretty smooth. The transfer is quick, and you don’t have to deal with any extra fees like with some other payment methods. That said, you’ve got to be careful and make sure you're sending money to a reliable seller because Zelle doesn’t offer much in terms of buyer protection. I’ve had good experiences with it, but I’d suggest being cautious, especially for larger purchases. If you want more details or tips on using it for business, you could check out some good insights at OwnersClub FX.

We’re the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a U.S. government agency dedicated to making sure you are treated fairly by banks, lenders and other financial institutions.

So the Federal Government is suing these clowns over shoddy protections and allowing scammers to knowingly operate. Americans have lost over $870 Million using Zelle.

I don't care how many AI generated positive "reviews" they have, or how many similarly produced glowing "recommendations" they have - any company that ONLY accepts Zelle or PayPal Friends and Family is 100% a scam, ripoff, dirty low down drygulching claim jumpin' varmint!!!!
i.e.. I would not use. Ever.
