Barrel channel tip
« on: November 01, 2021, 08:05:55 AM »
For those with free floating barrels, here is an old trick to center the barrel in the stock.
When reassembling a rifle, I use playing cards or thin cardboard and put them in the barrel channel nice and snug. When finished torqueing the barrel, simply remove the cards and check the torque again. Barrel should be centered.

Thanks for the tip!

If I ever have to remove the barrel on my CZ 550 UCS (Urban Counter Sniper) rifle, I'll remember to do that.
