Obviously it's hard to keep the CZ Drake Southpaw in stock (especially the 20 Gauge), but virtually every time I've went to find them they're gone. Last year it was like this, and then earlier this year I found them in stock but I didn't pull the trigger in time before they were gone again. I won't make that mistake twice if I can help it. Do they tend to do runs on Drake Southpaws at a particular time of year? Or are they normally good at replenishing them (maybe it was just a COVID thing)?

It's a fairly constant stream. While it hurts a bit that it's a lower production volume item (being a left handed version) the biggest factor is the huge backorders on nearly everything for the past year and a half. All of the Drakes are HEAVILY backordered, so best to get the next one you find if you want one. Can always keep an eye on gun broker and the large online dealers. Or find your nearest CZ authorized dealer and get an order in, preferably one that already has some on order. A new order for one is probably looking at 4-6+ months before getting filled.
