CZ Bren 2 SBR Stock
« on: December 17, 2021, 01:14:53 PM »
Just picked up a Bren in 5.56.  What is a good recommendation for a stock?  Consensus on the Dan Haga with the ACR stock from magpul?

I have a spare stock from the Carbine model Bren if you end up wanting to buy it.

I'm a fan of it

The factory stocks are very nice. They are much lighter than the Magpul stock, are made with a carbon fiber composite, and only lack height adjustment. The "BR" or later version offers an improved design for reducing wobble when the stock is fully extended.

It seems like the Waffle Style stock might fit me better than this one since I pretty much only do CQB movements with this gun, but this one does a good job of both getting the recoil impulse lower into your body as well as being tall enough for squared up, CQB training.

Will that fit a 7.62x39 gun?

Others will have to chime in, but to my knowledge all of the Bren 2 guns are the same other than the Barrel, bolt, and magazine.

5.56 and 7.62x39 Bren 2's only differ in barrel assembly, bolt assembly, gas cylinder, and the presence or absence of a magazine well insert.

Either factory folding stock will work on a 5.56 or 7.62x39 Bren 2. If I'm not mistaken, they will also fit on the 7.62x51 Bren 2 as well.
