Setup seems very good... The NEA rail and SIG stock
« on: January 07, 2022, 05:10:58 PM »
I am pretty happy with my NEA upper rail and the MD 25 ACSS mini optic.  It has a decent cowitness and the sight is nicely aligned.   I also like the SIG Minimalist stock and Stormwerks adapter. At first I thought it might be too high, but I can easily apply the irons because of the nice shape of the stock.  The stock locks up like a vault, allows the use of the trigger, controls and bolt, and DOESN"T collide with the receiver.  It locks up in the folded position, but is easy to deploy.  All good.  I'm not sure now that I need to use the side mount and might lose the weight!  We'll see.  (Hopefully the NEA rail will hold zero well over many rounds).

Which minimalist stock? I think SIG has had 3 or so?

That sounds like a great set up. Would you mind posting a pic? Thanks
