Sending S2 slide for milling

Question : Do I need to disassemble the slide completely: remove firing pin, front sight?
If I'm planning on going with the plate system, I assume there is no need to send the dot, correct?

FYI...I sent my complete slide to them, and if you want you can send them the optic and they will mount it for you.
