New to the forum and looking for some help. During a recent hunt I lost my magazine plug in the field. CZ-USA has offered to send me a new one which is fantastic, but it has been a slow process and only if they can find one lying around (as they are delivered on a 1 for 1 basis with the guns).
If they are unable to locate a replacement, or in case one of us loses one in the future, could any of you that own a 712 please provide the dimensions of your original plug so that I can make the replacement? My gun is the newer version that has the long pin style plug that is inserted into the end of the magazine and held in place by the magazine cap screw.
Also, if anyone else has made a replacement, please share how you did it.
