CZ 75 - sear cage wiggle
« on: March 11, 2022, 04:05:44 PM »
New SP01 manual with a little sear cage wiggle during single action.
Aware of the Pin and Shim methods that have been used for years.

My fix may not be for everyone, but it's working great for me.
I ended up using a plastic tapered peg method.
Individually carved and fitted to each of the rear corners.
Jammed in tight - flush with the rail.  All the trial and error was worth it.

Virtually zero wiggle after 100 rounds at the range.  (MCarbo spring kit installed.  About 3.5lb pull)

well done! will that plastic break down with cleaning products. Looks like a good cheap option - thx for sharing.

I clean often. So far it seems very durable.  The cleaning pick actually provided the inspiration, just so happens I ended up using the pick material.
I'll keep an eye out for issues.
