CZ 97B front sight
« on: April 05, 2022, 08:26:06 PM »
Howdy,
I am finding front sights for CZ 75 series pistols, are those compatible with the CZ 97?   My gut says they are, but I want to be certain before I buy anything.
I want to put a fiber optic sight on the front to help my aging eyes.
Also, what is the factory front sight height for a 97B made in 2004?
It is a fixed sight RSR Special if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Mike   :D

Oops, found the answers to my questions.
CGW lists the Dawson 050-390 fiber optic front sight as the perfect replacement for the factory front sight.

Sorry guys.    :-[

All CZ front sights with the standard dovetail (not sure about P series, Rami, or 40P) have the same front sight height, the difference is the rear sight.  I'd put the rear sight you want on the gun then figure out how tall a front sight you need to regulate the point of impact.

Cheers,
Toby
