Recent change to the PCR?
« on: April 21, 2022, 10:13:51 PM »
I am considering purchasing a PCR (91194). The majority of the images in articles, reviews, etc. show the hammer, trigger and barrel as silver (I'm partial to this configuration). However, I've seen a couple that show these as all black. Is the all black hammer, trigger and barrel the way they come now? Are there two different "options."

Disregard -- I finally found some discussion about this in a previous thread.

which thread was it? i just bought a new PCR and the pic shows a black trigger. I am praying that it has the newer less curved trigger than what was pictured in their add.

Do you know when the trigger change happened? I recently picked up a P-01 (non-Omega) and it doesn't have the recurve trigger. It is a black trigger, fwiw.

I think the change in the trigger shoe shape came in 2021. How long it took for those with the new triggers to get into circulation is a different question.

not sure if I am using the right terminology for the trigger shoe style. Anyway, both of my 2021 PCR's came with a black and not extremely curved or pointed trigger shoe. They also did not invoke any finger bite issues, after shooting 6 or 7 mags.
