Sliver of cartridge showing when chambered - okay?
« on: May 01, 2022, 07:50:18 PM »
Is it okay that i can see a sliver of the rim when a round is chambered? I don't see any in my other pistols (Sigs) but am new to semi-autos, so don't know if it's okay or something is wrong.  I can see the sliver of case regardless of different ammo. Am i okay or do I have a problem?

Absolutely ok in my experience.   Here's my Rami in 9mm.  You can clearly see a sliver of cartridge.  It's completely in battery, and goes bang every time I pull the trigger.   Never had an issue.

Yup, that's exactly what mine looks like. Thanks, I'll stop worrying about it.
