I got fed up with trimming/reaming 5.56mm NATO brass, so I broke weak and ordered a Frankford Arsenal Platinum case trim/chamfer/etc. station. It came in a few days ago. I set it up, and put in my first test case to the trimmer - it ran about 10 seconds and stopped turning. I thought that was odd. I backed the Case Holder assembly out a tiny bit and the motor started running again, BUT, the Locking ring was jammed tight, so tight I couldn't move it with hand or hand tools...so I called Frankford Arsenal. The customer service guy was very professional. He used the unit they had in the office and couldn't replicate the problems, said he'd never heard of that happening. I told him right up front it was probably my fault. Long story short - a new unit is on the way to me and my old one will be winging it's way back, no charge, no fuss, no muss. Kudos the Frankford Arsenal!

People tend to think that Ruger, Colt, or S&W are the same size businesses as say General Motors in the 1960's. In fact none of the gun related businesses are Fortune 500 companies. So competition for brand loyalty tends to mean something here. Most gun related businesses could give customer service lessons to actual Fortune 500 Major Corporations. Frankford Arsenal didn't want to lose a customer to RCBS or Hornady so they treat you right. Funny how that works.

I had to work with Frankford Arsenal on an issue with a new wet tumbler. Good folks to work with.

I own their Platinum case trimmer machine. Works great. I've replaced it now with a Giraud Tri-Way though.

Got the shipping notification yesterday morning and I haven't been able to ship the other one back yet! I think this is a darn good company to deal with.

Sorry it took me so long - the new one is everything I had hoped it would be! Dang, but this thing makes trimming brass a BREEZE! Made my day right away, thank you Frankford Arsenal!
