I think they are still working on the fix for the 600 series.
I spoke with one person in the booth about the recall on the 600 series.
He said that the problem was that the barrel swap on the 600 series was "not idiot-proof" so they are going to revisit their design to see if they can make it idiot-proof".
We then talked about Czech beers and wanting to visit the factory.
Side note: there were a LOT of police outside the convention center and they kept all of the protesters across the street from the entrance. Inside there were roving SWAT teams who seemed more to be there for shopping than protection.
In all it was as well behaved as I've come to expect for an exhibition and show.
One thing I don't like about the
GRB (George R. Brown convention center) is the lighting. To me it doesn't seem quite adequate for close examination of things.
Worse though are the one-day shows put on by the
Houston Gun Collectors Association at the
SPJST Hall in Houston.

Slovanska Podporujici Jednota Statu Texas) is a Czech fraternal organization founded in
1897.
They even have a Czech flag flying with the US and Texas flags out front!
Their lighting is so bad when shows are held there that I bring a flashlight to examine things.
