He said they had sold a bunch and I was first one to bring any back. Guessing others haven’t tried them, or don’t know any better. [emoji2373]
Or, more proabably, the guns those bullets are being fired in have longer chambers and simply don't have a problem.
@Bret
Quite possible it would work in some others. After you mention I remember an old ruger P89 years ago they would have probably worked in. It had a lengthier taper. .
From experience I had with those Fiocchi another with short chambering similar to CZ is the Smith&Wesson M&P9 shield EZ.
Looks maybe a few thousandths more than CZ.
I took in the 2 barrels I’d tested in when returning the ammunition. The smith and Wesson barrel was the one I left shell still stuck in the barrel so they could see just how bad they would lock without even going into battery. This being CZ forum I only photographed and posted CZ.
Gunsmith had to get a rod and drive it out of the S&W.
The weaker recoil spring on the EZ compounded the problem of slide not going into full battery.
I think if I’d tried those rounds in the S&W first I probably would have ended up with a possible bad OOB firing mishap.
Tried their FMJ 115gr too and didn’t have the issue, but returned them anyway.
