A question about my unusual 75 SA (Non B), yes that one that no one seems to have seen before.
I attach a photo of the current hammer, the creep/engagement is way too long for serious target competition.
Now, because CZ don’t know much about this gun (there were only a few test models made and sent out), they tell me Shadow parts will fit, but other custom shops tell me its closer to the older cz 75 ipsc, even TS parts. The hammer is 7.8mm wide at the main hole, and the frame space where the hammer goes, is 8.2mm, these measurements are also not standard for CZ 75 or Shadow I think? Can anyone share if these measurements seem odd? It wouldn't surprise me, since is was one of a few "test" pistols made in 2004, before the final release of the shadow the following year.
I find it strange that they would put out this pistol with such a long sear engagement, but then again, it's an "undocumented" so anything is possible.
So I am wondering, if I should ask a gun smith to modify the existing hammer, or I should order the hammer at this link.
https://xrayparts.it/en/cz-75-sp-01-spare-parts/156-hammer-for-cz-75-tactical-sports-orange-single-action-only.html - I'm still waiting on the specs of this one.
Thanks for any info you might have on hammer width and frame space width for a shadow or cz 75b!
