Pistols are close quarter weapons and have been since 1300, so why is it important to shoot accurately with them past 15 yards?  I guess it might be entertaining, but anything over that distance should be done with a rifle.

Shoot, I'm 62 with readers... when I take my CZ 75B .40 out for a walk we can bounce soup cans out past 75 yards.

Lol... Let's see some video proof of these shooting exploits.

It'll take a bit to get that video but can do. Its easier than it sounds. You just aim at the dirt low and in front of the can and the flying dirt makes the can fly. Trick shooting but you can impress folks none the less. If you aim right at the can you just fill it full of holes and it doesn't jump. The better video is banging the steel at 100 yards at night. The club I belong to has big LED lights on the range roof pointing down range. So, at night, in a drizzle, with the .40 loaded down to about 850 fps not only can you bang the 100 yard gong but you can see the bullet fly out there... and you can get the bullet on video. Once you see the bullet flying like a rainbow it's easy to adjust to hit the steel, very cool. 9mm is to small and fast. best results are with the big .45 flying under 900 fps.
No target is too large or to close to miss.

The guy shooting at you/yours is across the street at, or behind a car.  Should he be "safe" there?  Or can you stop him from shooting/killing someone?

Most civilians don't walk around with a rifle in their hands.

Aim small miss small.

Why wait for someone trying to kill you to get within 15 yds?

Why carry a gun that shoot 4" groups at 15 yds. when you can carry one that shoots 1" groups?
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Imho. Great shooting for the first time out, I’m sure with time the distance will increase.  Us older guys need to stick together

You, the gun and the ammo.  And practice.

I can absolutely tell some ammo shoots better groups in my CZs than other ammo.

I can't tell when I'm having a bad day unless I pull my P07 out of the holster and shoot a good group with it after being frustrated with poor groups when shooting a different pistol, or two.  That P07 maintains my sanity.

Indeed. My P-07 has always been a great shooter for me as well.

I did 300 DA & 300 SA dry fires (with o-ring) to break in the trigger.

Why do you use an o-ring during break in dry fires?

Congratulations on the new 75! The CZ75B was my introduction to the CZ line and I have been satisfied with every purchase to date.

Very nice, I've thought about getting a CZ 75 as well.

They are great pistols, but now that I have a Langdon Tactical Beretta 92G Elite LTT Centurion with some custom touches,
I have no reason to keep or shoot the 75 B or any of my other DA/SA pistols. Yes, the Langdon Beretta really is that good.
