Are you going to liquidate your DA/SA pistols?

No target is too large or to close to miss.

Pistols are close quarter weapons and have been since 1300, so why is it important to shoot accurately with them past 15 yards?  I guess it might be entertaining, but anything over that distance should be done with a rifle.

Yes I agree, I mostly shoot my P-01 Omega at 15 yds and sometimes 25 yards but that's max for me.

Yep, I'm only keeping the "cream of the crop" pistols in my collection. The Langdon Centurion is so good I just don't need the others.

I picked up this 75 B and the Prodigy on the same day.
Nice gun, nice shooting. However, your groups would shrink if you gave yourself a definitive point of focus... like a 1" black circle. Just saying.

Sometimes rifles fail, or can’t have one (bow season)
We had a hog about to charge. I tried 3 rifle shots and all failed to fire (bad Ammo)
I’m just glad when I yelled at my wife to Climb a tree it scared the rest and broke its charge.

A friend was out in bow season field dressing a deer. He’d seen hog and pulled his pistol same time he started talking trying to get it to leave. But it wanted his deer.
Hog started charging from 40yds out.

He Hit it with first shot at 35yrds. 4 rapid hits later it dropped at just under 20 yards from him.
If he had only practiced at 20yds and waited until it was in that distance he might not be here today.

Of course distance a person practices at depends on Their situation/environment.

I picked up this 75 B and the Prodigy on the same day. I did 300 DA & 300 SA dry fires (with o-ring) to break in the trigger.
This is 25 rounds of S&B 124 FMJ, freestanding, outdoors from 7 yards. My grip and trigger control need a little more work,
but she is smooth and sweet shooter. I just ordered 2 more 16 round mags for her, because she is a keeper.  8)

Looks good.

One aspect of practicing at longer range is that in order to hit, the fundamentals require stricter diligence. So, just stay closer were it is easier? Adding range takes you out of your comfort zone. AND, you find that those close in groups tighten up, and become a piece of cake. Sure, you might have to defend against a distant threat, but I think more important your skills improve and you have fun. Or maybe I am just way off base.

I have hit steel torso targets at 100 yds off hand outdoors with both my SP-01 tactical and PCR. Not every shot but enough to make it count. Its fun trying to see what you and your tools will do and that translates into better results at close range. I am over 65 and wear progressive glasses all the time so I can be done even by us more mature folks.
SP-01 Tactical
75 D PCR fully Cajunized
2075 Rami B (9 mm), 85 trigger/reach reduction kit
75 SC Massada

Dan Wesson Valor V-bob black Duty finish

I love shooting my cz sp-01.  I don’t think I’ve every tried shooting paper at 25 yards but I do try steel targets.  Excellent gun

My favorite and consistently most accurate gun is my PCR at 10, 15 and 25yrds [I don't bother to waste bullets at five and seven yards].
It must be the ergonomics of the gun, my hand size and my truglo pro orange front night sights.
Granted, my CZ 75B Omega and my SP-01 are very accurate as well, but I am unrelentingly confident with my PCR.
My P-01 Omega takes a lot of concentration to be as accurate.
Progressive lenses and over 65 as well.

I agree about the PCR being accurate. On top of that, I shoot it well being this Is the third day that I’ve owned it. Yesterday is fired 15 at 12 yards double action for each shot standing unsupported. Target was a sheet of colo construction paper, my favorite target, having no bullseye. I just stepped into the garage to measure and total maximum group size was 4 inches. 12 of the 15 was 2.75 inches tall by 1.75 inches wide. When front was center of paper I would quickly pull the trigger. I shoot it better than my PO 1 Omega. Better DA trigger. Not lighter, just better.

Tomorrow I’ll be ordering a set of Dawson Precision night sights for. A few more rounds it will be my EDC. I only have fired 150 thru it so far.

Nice groups! I highly recommend the The TruGlo Tritium Pro Night Sights CZ 75 Tritium Green Tritium W/Orange Outline Fr, TG-TG231Z1C SKU: TU-AP-TG-TG231Z1C. You won't be disappointed, unless you buy something else.
These are the best sights I have ever come across and very user friendly and accurate.
