Redhead All Terrain 20 ga barrel fitment
« on: January 01, 2023, 05:43:28 PM »
I just purchased this gun about 3 weeks ago. It is very challenging, next to impossible to assemble the barrel to the receiver. The ejector bars are sprung such that they do not clear the machine shoulders in the receiver hinges. I was able to depress each ejector to clear the hinge groove on the sides to close, but required extreme thumb pressure to do so. Why are these sprung so tight? What am I dong wrong?
All of my other O/Us (Browning, Berretta, Remington) are simple to assemble. How do I relieve the ejector springs so they are relaxed?

Welcome from Georgia.

Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the sticky posts in the 'New Members' Forum and also the 'Important Information' sub-section.

Gosh. I thought I had complied with everything in New Members. I thought posting a non-sales question in Shotgun sub-forum, about a CZ shotgun was appropiate. My apologies. Could you offer me a little more help or direction, please?

You HAVE complied. Thank you.

I'm simply 1) welcoming you on your first post, and 2) giving you a 'heads up' that this is not your normal 'anything goes' gun forum. We have strict rules which we want you to read and be aware of... BEFORE you get too 'carried away'. But so far, so good !

I hope you get the shotgun help you need. Happy New Year !
