hammer pivot pin retaining peg - stuck
« on: January 02, 2023, 01:28:07 PM »
Hi,
I have brand new S2 OR. This pin is stuck FROM FACTORY.
Looks like someone in factory forced it down from wrong angle or used a size larger pin, because it has peeled off a tiny bit.
All my other CZs have normal to loose fit for that pin.

I would like to take it out, but don't have idea how to do it without damaging the frame...??

That's a new one.  If you could get it started maybe it will free up?  Then maybe you could be grab it from inside the frame?

Good luck!

Some kind of anti disassembly policy from CZ with stucked pin?  ;D ;D ;D

Still can't find a way to take it out.  :(

 Looks like warranty case.
I would tru to gently push the hammer pin deeper. Maybe just some debris under the pin head.

Its built to shoot higher power ammo without rattling out on you - stop complaining...

JK. Good luck getting it out, I would try soaking in break free and maybe heat?
important note that the safety detent spring holds mine in, blocking the pin from falling out of the frame when turned upside down. Looks like you have your safety detent out already.
I dunno what to try on that.

What a creative idea.  Glad you got the desired “out”-come..

Congrats!  Some folks stabilize the sear cage with a modified drill bit.  https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=63281.msg421884#msg421884
