Firstly, let me state that I do not expect perfect alignment and several articles suggest a properly mounted scope (set at factory optical zero) to have the cross hairs within a couple of inches of what can be seen through the bore at 50 yards?
With the 11mm dovetail milled into the top of the receiver and different scope ring mounts (CZ, BKL and Burris) I am experiencing POI 6 inches below POA and 4-5 inches off to one side…that seems a lot of scope adjustment, especially for windage! I’m using a Sightron SII 36x42mm and confirming rings are centered with alignment bars.
Has anyone else encountered significant differences between a factory zero scope and bore sight at 50 yards? Any tips to avoid the 90 click adjustment on the scope to get POA = POI?
