New P-10C standard-night sights
« on: January 16, 2023, 08:57:14 AM »
I just bought a new P10c for a great price, and like the pistol a lot. That might be the best pistol $425 can buy right now OTD. It is not OR, standard sights and the gun was made in the Czech Republic it seems in 2021 (serial starts with "F"). I have Apex trigger kit for it on the way. The gun shoots to point of aim, but I want night sights on it. Does anyone know what the difference between XS night sights listed on CZ Webstore ( XS P-10 NIGHT SIGHT SET #3 STANDARD, SKU 40153; XS P-10 NIGHT SIGHT SET #4 STANDARD, sku: 40154; XS P-10 NIGHT SIGHT SET #2 STANDARD, sku: 40152). I just do not want to mess with the heights, etc. Any info would be appreciated.

My daughter got me Night Fision sights for Christmas in white/white.  They are awesome!

I just removed a set of XS H3 sights from a law enforcement model. These had the orange outline on the front. The front sight was also stamped 6 on the front. They were perfect for 15 yards.

XS sights website is confusing. It seems they either make V-shape rear sight that is not good for precision shooting or they make 3-dot sights (which I prefer), but for OR models, not for standard models. The CZ webstore lists 3-dot XS sights, I just want to figure our which SKU is best. And can't get a reply from the CZ CS.  :)

Yeah cz don’t make it easy. How hard would it be to add a description. Hopefully someone at CZ USA who knows something useful has stayed in Kansas City to answer phones while the gang goes to Shot Show this week. Normally I’d recommend cz custom, but already know their web store sight selection is confusing as heck.

Thanks. Ironically, I bought the gun from Stuart at CZ Custom in the first place. Should ask them, but as you said, everyone is at Shot Show. Anyway, the gun shoots POA/POI now so I have no complaints. I may go Trijicon with narrow front sight, its just too expensive. I tend to shoot with some precision at 15-25 yards.

Definitely talk with CZC. I was in there for Phantom parts and asked why they didn’t have a rear suppressor sight for the P10 OR. THEY DID. Never found them on the site. Got to finish that project….

Perhaps I should have elaborated.  My daughter gave me Night Fision sights for Christmas.  My P-10C had factory tritium sights, but they were quite dim and had no surround.  I had wanted to try the NF sights, but was unsure of which I ones I wanted.  In the end, white/white looked to be the most neutral, so that is what she got for me.

They are the same size as the factory sights.  I slid the factory sights off and slid the NF sights on, then tightened.  The front sight cannot be screwed up.  The rear sight can be adjusted and thankfully I have an adjusted laser sight on my pistol, so I simply set the rear sight to the laser at 50 feet and I was done.

The new sights have exactly the same POI as the factory sights with the added benefits of being much easier to see both day and night!

I know you were asking about CZ Customs and not Night Fision, but these are very nice steel sights with a lot of tritium for not a lot of money.

Thank you sir. I will look into Night Fision. Best wishes.

I installed Night Fision front sight on my P10C (Chech-made, not OR) and it works beautifully, all shots POA/POI. I do not see a need for matching NF rear sight-should probably sell it. Together with Apex trigger kit (https://www.apextactical.com/action-enhancement-kit-for-cz-p-10), which I also installed myself, this gun is the best shooting CZ I ever had. Apex trigger is silky smooth and there is no finger bait. It is reliable out of the box, too. I am very pleased.

Ditto for the Fusion sights. I have the P10C OR. The stock trigger is so good I would be  wasting money on an Apex trigger when I can shoot 3 inch groups at 10 yards.

I’ll second your opinion on the factory trigger. On the other hand the $65 for the HBI trigger and spring were worth the money. I’d upgrade my other P10c if I wasn’t selling it.

Another recommendation for night fision sights.  I have them on the P-07, P-10C,and P-10S (I prefer the yellow frt tritium dot, with blacked out rear "U" notch).
