Mannlicher stock ???

Does anyone have any experience with the FS series with the Mannlicher stock ?  I'm about ready to buy a 527FS but I'm wondering about the performance of them especially after shooting awhile when the barrel gets hot....any change in the POI ??  I'd love to hear any comments , pro and con, of people that have one.

I've got a 550FS in 6.5x55 and love it.  It's very accurate, although not a consistant one hole shooter like my 452 Lux.  But then finding a factory center fire rifle that is, is a rare thing. Point of impact does change, but just a bit. As a hunting rifle, this is not a problem since you wouldn't be shooting a dozen times at the same critter.  But if you're shooting targets, just let it cool down a bit after you empty your magazine.  Walk down, check your target, B.S. with your shooting buddy, reload and shoot some more!  Just give it some time to cool down is the important thing.  Besides, you get a Mannlicher stock for style points, not pin-point accuracy.  But remember, IT'S A CZ, you won't be dissapointed!!  Good luck!

I have a 550FS in 7X64 Brenneke. A great rifle. I did have to purchase lower scope mounts, (warne) so that I could put my cheek on the stock and see through the scope.

Do you know what the part number is on those Warne rings? I've got a 550FS in 6.5x55 with Burris rings, but the rings are too high for me to get a solid cheek weld on the stock. Thanks!
