550 Safari Magnum in .458 Lott

Hello all,

I am looking at purchasing a .458 Lott bolt action rifle.  I was told that in this issue of the American Rifleman, that they mentioned that CZ will be adding this caliber to the model 550 Safari.

Can anyone verify this?

After contacting my Canadian CZ dstr., he was unaware of this but he mentionned about CZ chambering to the .221 Fireball. About 6 months ago he was unaware of the .221 Fireball chambering thus keep your fingers crossed for the .458 Lott;) . Hopefuly the gun industry will go forward with the Lott since .458 Win. Mag.(fully loaded) cartridges are rarer than a 4 leaf clover. S & B does'nt even list it in their cartridges.:\
