Raising SA trigger pull weight.
« on: April 07, 2023, 07:54:40 PM »
I puchased the newer Lyman Digital trigger guage and I decided to test my SP01 Bullshadows for bleeps and grins. Both tested around 5 pounds for the double action but they both tested under 2 pounds for the single action.

They both have the Cajun Adjustable sears, the Cajun 11.5 hammer spring, the CZC Ghost hammers, Eemantech Flat Triggers, and standard trigger return springs.

Is there any way to raise the SA pull without installing a 17 lb hammer spring or a Tanfoglio sear spring (ran out)?

Picture for reference.

Yes with the standard CZ75 action (not the TS), you have a heavier Trigger return spring and also a heavier sear spring available.

CZ Custom heavy trigger return spring:  https://czcustom.com/cz-75-trigger-return-spring-heavy.html

Zendl Heavy Sear Spring:  https://www.cz-parts.com/cz-shadow-2-cz-ts-2-cz-75b-sp-01-sear-spring

I'd be really curious what trigger pull you get with the heavier sear spring.  Zendl spring discussed here:  https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=120086.0

Cheers,

Would this springs also work in a 97BD?

It should work in any SA/DA CZ or Tanfoglio.
