Frankford Arsenal came through
« on: April 12, 2023, 05:18:54 PM »
Last week my Frankford Arsenal Intellidropper died at the start of a reloading session.  Checked the power pack and the voltage was up to specs, but it wouldn’t power up.  Called tech support the next day, they asked for a picture of the data label on the bottom of the Intellidropper. I sent them the information they requested, and the next day I received an email saying they were processing a warranty replacement claim.  Fast forward one week and there is a new Intellidropper on my front porch.  I was pleased with the way this was handled by Frankford. I’ll be buying more from them in the future

Good to see that your experience followed the customer service philosophy I was quoted.
This past January my six month old Intellidropper lost a horizontal line of the digital display which resulted in all the digital read out not having any bottom to it and it also eliminated the “manual” / “auto” display text entirely.  I had to use the Bluetooth to phone app to see the complete digital display.
I emailed Franford about the issue and in two days and they asked for photographs showing the problem.  I complied.  Two months, no contact, emailed again, no reply, emailed again, no reply, three months I emailed and said I’m throwing this one in the trash and buying another RCBS, no reply.  Bought another RCBS.
Two weeks ago I get an email from Franford.  We’re sorry, we’re having personnel issues, this is not the type of customer service we’re known for etc, etc.  a few days later a new Intellidropper shows up.  Not so sure I’d buy another Franford product just yet.  I’ll wait for more stories like yours before I commit.

Don_P, I have a feeling that there are many other companies out there fighting the same personnel problems that Frankfort has.   This is not just a firearms company problem, and some have managed to hold on to their "good ones", but many companies are just plain having problems with staffing, period.

Case in point, are many of the fast food joints in my local area....they cannot keep staffed up, along with hospitals, and other service type businesses.
