CZ USA customer service?
« on: April 14, 2023, 10:16:43 AM »
Long story short I ordered a P10F from PSA during their Easter sale. It showed up to my FFL with a dead trigger. PSA told me my options were to return it for a refund or send it to CZ for warranty. I never actually accepted the pistol and my FFL is willing to ship it to CZ or back to PSA for me. It was on sale for $399 so I kinda want to keep it but does anyone have any recent real world timeframes for warranty work from CZ?

Call CZ-USA and ask them they are the people who would know and without knowing what is actually wrong with the pistol it's hard to say anyway.

Striker fire triggers are pretty simple. Did you open it up and see what could be wrong? Might be an easy fix.

I have used CZ Warranty in the past and it was great. This was a few years ago. I can't say how it is these days. I would call and get a feel for how they are going to handle it and then go from there.

I’m going to just see if my local gunsmith will look at it. I filed for a warranty claim a week ago, and called them Monday. I still haven’t even received a RMA # to send it back. Pretty horrible customer service IMO. If I can’t get the local smith to look at it for a reasonable price I’ll just return it to Palmetto and cut my losses. Pretty bummed out because I love my Shadow 2’s and DWX.

Horrible? Did you call them back to ask why? I guess mistakes aren't allowed to happen?

Again.. Its a striker fired gun. The triggers aren't complicated. Have you or anyone even looked at it?

Have you checked your spam folder? I believe the RMA is sent from a FedEx email and not CZ. If so I'd call them back and see what the issue is. A few days to get the RMA is one thing. A week+ is something else.

He shouldn't have to.  It is a brand new gun.

Ok well then don't accept it.. He has that choice. It's not hard to take the slide off and see what's wrong. Then instead of sending the whole gun back he might just need them to send a part... Ooorr.. Just don't accept it.

My understanding is that Colt is taking over CZ-USA's warranty work, so may be an issue in that transition...

Regarding the "deal" you got -- CZ's new MSRP is making it's way into retail channels now as older, more expensive inventory is cleared out, so $399 should be about standard real world pricing moving forward.

At least it’s figured out now. CZ sent the RMA to my FFL who had no idea what gun it was tied to. I was misinformed the first time I called and when I called today they told me I could return it and reorder. I’m not in any rush though and it sounds like it should be a less than 4 week turn around. I just wanted to make sure it was actually being taken care of. Now that my FFL knows what gun to attach to the RMA they told me they’ll send it out tomorrow. I’ll keep this post updated with how long the warranty process takes.

 That is not the case.

Which location are you shipping it to?
